Since 1967, the 5 Autels farm has been a pioneer in organic farming.
In 1984, Jean-René PITROU planted 10 hectares of apple trees and transformed his father's farm into a cider-producing estate of excellence.
All the products (apple juice, ciders, perries, pommels, vinegars and calvados) are grown organically and without sulfites. Everything is 100% natural (slow fermentation based on indigenous yeasts, fermentation in the bottle).
In 2018, Thibault, the grandson of Maurice, the founder, took up the torch: he works to make the farm "carbon neutral", to obtain recognition for his work in Biodynamics. In particular, he replanted 13 hectares of apple trees to ensure the continuity of biodiversity.
