My name is Anthony, and I come from a family of farmers from father to son for 4 generations.
I have always had a passion for vines from a young age.
In 2013, I settled down as a farmer to the great despair of my parents while keeping a dual activity. I am also a miller for a company that manufactures parts for airplanes and helicopters.
In 2014, I met Audrey who was then a city dweller from Marseille. She fell in love with the vineyard and decided to convert to farming.
Having the same vision of agriculture, we work the vines by tillage, stripping, plowing and without chemicals.
We had always dreamed of making our own wine, but we had neither the financial means nor the structures necessary for it.
Last year, while discussing our desires with a winegrower friend, he offered to help us and we accepted. Our first L'ange à la terre cuvée was born in the Bartassou estate with a label made in the family since our eldest did the drawing, our youngest wrote the writing, our son is called Ange and the name of the estate is a nod to the past generation!
Our harvests are done by hand, in crates, for a whole bunch maceration with manual vatting and devatting in the cellar. Our wines are neither filtered nor yeasted.
We have 13 hectares of vines with different grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache gris, Sauvignon, Carignan, Cabernet, Nielluccio).
Other vintages should be on their toes this year! ...
