Emiliano Subacchi’s Paradiis Winery was founded at the end of the 19th
century; today is one of the most interesting wineries in the Friuli
Venezia Giulia (FVG), Region, in Italy. The Winery is spread over 25
hectares, in Paradiso, a small hamlet in the municipality of Pocenia,
halfway between Udine and Lignano Sabbiadoro, a well-known seaside
resort
It is on this territory rich of history, culture, and gastronomy, with its mild
and breezy climate that the Paradiis Winery has developed, from its
past experiences to the present-day accomplishments. Keeping a
commitment to cultivate quality grapes and applying his broad
knowledge on winemaking, the current owner Emiliano Subacchi, a
young passionate winemaker, has been able to modernize and
transform the company into the current reality
The nature of the soil and the climate, the attention and care for each
variety of grapes grown on the farm, the exclusion of herbicides during
the ripening stages of the grapes, allow a production of the classic
white and red wines typical of this Region, in respect to a winemaking
tradition that places the FVG at the top of the list of wine producers in
Italy
Moreover, the use of the latest generation of equipment during the
various processing phases allows a further reduction of pesticides, in
respect to the environment and paying attention to new agronomic
changes. The whole process of production of wines is handled
personally by Emiliano.
